The Diary

One day, the pigeon, now christened Miss Mundy, moved from the lower to the upper ledge, probably because it was slightly further away from human activity.
Over the weeks, we noticed a little pile growing in the right hand corner of the ledge and it was obvious that this was the ‘toilet’ side of the ledge and that this was the ‘Poo Pile’.
Over the weeks, we watched Miss Mundy and her daily habits which involved shuffling around the ledge, flying away for ‘food hunting expeditions’ and watching the car park activities. There were a few days when she would disappear for long periods which worried us, but she always came back.

After school finished in June Miss Mundy changed her habits slightly and we think it was because she was disorientated due to the lack of traffic and people.
